Welcome to the Online Enrolment Portal of Shilpamandira Admission Test SAT-2024

The entrance examination SAT-2024 is for admission to 3 years Diploma Engineering Courses in RAMAKRISHNA MISSION SHILPAMANDIRA for the Academic Session 2024-2025 through SHILPAMANDIRA ADMISSION TEST.

The RAMAKRISHNA MISSION SHILPAMANDIRA is Approved by AICTE and affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD

Eligibility Criteria : An Indian male citizen, having passed or appeared at the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent having obtained 50% marks in aggregate with English, Physical Science and Mathematics as subjects and at least 50% in Physical Science and Mathematics together.

Age Restriction :The candidate must not be born before 01.01.2003 & should not be born after 30.06.2009

Syllabus for SAT : Latest revised syllabus on Mathematics and Physical Science upto Class-X under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) shall be followed for SAT–2024 Topic-wise syllabus is given below:

Mathematics : Real Numbers, Laws of Indices, Graph, Co-ordinate Geometry - Distance Formula, Linear Simultaneous Equations, Properties of Parallelogram, Polynomial, Factorisation, Transversal & Mid-Point Theorem, Profit & Loss, Statistics, Theorems on Area, Construction of a Parallelogram whose measurement of one angle is given and equal in area of a Triangle, Construction of a Triangle equal in area of a quadrilateral, Area & Perimeter of Triangle & Quadrilateral shaped region, Circumference of Circle, Theorems on concurrence, Area of circular region, Co-ordinate Geometry - Internal and External Division of Straight Line Segment, Co-ordinate Geometry - Area of Triangular Region, Logarithm.

Quadratic Equations with one variable, Simple Interest, Theorems related to circle, Rectangular Parallelopiped or Cuboid, Ratio and Proportion, Compound Interest and Uniform Rate of Increase or Decrease, Theorems related to Angles in a Circle, Right Circular Cylinder, Quadratic Surd, Theorems related to Cyclic Quadrilateral, Construction of circumcircle and incircle of a triangle, Sphere, Variation, Partnership Business, Theorems related to Tangent to a Circle, Right Circular Cone, Similarity, Construction of tangent to a circle, Real life Problems related to different Solid Objects, Trigonometry - Concept of Measurement of Angle, Construction - Determination of Mean Proportional, Pythagoras Theorem, Trigonometric Ratios and Trigonometric Identities, Trigonometric Ratios of Complementary angle, Application of Trigonometric Ratios - Heights & Distances, Statistics - Mean, Median, Ogive, Mode and Numerical Aptitude.

Concerns about our Environment, Behaviour of Gases, Light, Periodic Table and Periodicity of the Properties of Elements, Ionic and Covalent Bonding, Chemical Calculations, Thermal Phenomena, Current Electricity, Electricity and Chemical Reactions, Inorganic Chemistry in the Laboratory and in Industry, Metallurgy, Atomic Nucleus, Organic Chemistry and General Awareness.

Guidelines for filling the application form
The on-line Application form has to be filled properly as per the following guidelines. Request to change the information after submitting the completed application form will not be accepted under any circumstances.

  • While filling the application form, the candidate has to enter all the information including his name correctly.
  • Applicant should scan and upload his Recent Passport Size Photograph and Signature (Max.Size-100Kb; PEG/JPG/PNG Format only)
  • The applicant has to scan and upload his available Class-X : Marksheet & Admit Card (Max.Size-100Kb; PEG/JPG/PNG Format only)
  • If there is a procedural error in filling the form, the application will be rejected.

If the information given in the application form is proved wrong after the examination at any stage, even if the candidate succeeds in the examination and gets a place in the merit list, his candidature will be considered void.

Candidates seeking admission to Courses should possess good health and physique with sound mind. Conditions: (a) Candidate should not be suffering from any disease, physical/mental infirmity, (b) No Colour Blindness [https://www.shilpamandira.org/colourtest.pdf],(c) be Able to pursue Technical Course. (as per WBSCT&VE&SD norms) and (d) Medical Format [https://www.shilpamandira.org/SAT_Medical_FitnessCertificate.pdf]

Candidates must pay following Charges for seat allotment (after Counseling and Seat-allotment):

Admission Charges Rs. 10,000 (One-time Payment)
Semester Fees Rs. 15,000 (Each Semester)
Development charges Rs. 5,000 (Each Semester)
Student Activities Fees Rs. 5,000 (Each Semester)

The Admission Charges, Semester Fees, Development charges and Student Activities Fees (Rs. 35,000/- total) must be deposited through on-line Payment or DD (drawn in favour of “Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira” payable at Belur Math) within two days of confirmed seat allotment.

Personal cheques are not accepted.


Payment can be made through:
1. SBI Collect Portal (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect) using UPI, Net Banking or Rupay Debit card, or
2. Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira” payable at Belur Math.
The admission process must be completed within 2 days of seat allocation, failing which the seat allotment will be forfeited.

Tentative Scheme of Examination for SAT - 2024 : The SAT-2024 will be conducted in 3 subjects “Mathematics”, “Physics” & “Chemistry” for admission of students to Diploma Courses through management quota. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be set for all subjects which must be answered on specially designed machine readable answer sheets (OMR answer sheet). Answers are to be completely blackened by using BLACK BALL POINT pen only on the OMR sheet given. More than one answer indicated against one question will be treated as wrong answer.


Schedule of Examination : Time – 2 hour (MCQ – Multiple Choice Question)

Marks Divisions :

  • Total – 100 marks
    • Mathematics – 50 marks
    • Physics – 30 marks
    • Chemistry – 20 marks
  • Each question has one mark
  • Negative marking: Each wrong answer has –0.5 marks

  • Candidate must enter the examination hall 30 minutes before the start of the examination to receive general instructions for answering MCQ type questions.
  • Candidate must bring with them SAT Hall Ticket and Black Ball Point Pen.
  • The Hall Ticket must be shown to the officer supervising the examination as and when asked for.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to use calculator, cell phone or other electronic gadgets in the examination hall.
  • Rough work or any other type writing should not be done on the OMR sheet. Question paper may be used for the purpose of rough work.
  • Violation of any instruction and adoption of any unfair means in the examination shall render the candidate liable for cancellation of his answer sheet and forfeiture of his claim for his admission and the concerned examinee will be handed over to the Police.
